Recommendation Letter
Nicole Alm and Interview Panel
It is with great pleasure that I’m writing on behalf Dennis Alexander regarding the position of Digital Merchandiser, for Royal Canin.
I first met Dennis in 2016, as his trainer for Nutrition Academy. The moment he walked through the doors of the Knowledge & Respect room, I knew he was going to achieve great things and move us closer to the world we want, “A Better World for Pets”.
Having the opportunity to teach and coach Dennis during his onboarding was energizing. He never hesitated to ask questions, but they were different than the usual questions asked by new associates. His questions were deep seated and thought provoking on strategy, brand recognition and the way we leverage our content. Following his onboarding I sent the following comment to his Regional Manager “WOW! Thank you for the opportunity to train your new associate. Dennis radiates our culture and purpose. Even being new to the business I observed him being not only a self-starter but also great peer mentor to the other new associates. I have a great feeling that he is going to excel in his not just his current role, the roles he will achieve in the future with Royal Canin.”
Since his onboarding I have remained in close contact with him as a friend, mentor and at times a mentee. During this time, I have witnessed his personal drive and resilience lead him down extraordinary development pathways, while maintaining a guardian mindset and great foresight. One big undertaking was becoming a Salesforce champion. Historically adoption for using this tool in the field has been challenging, with a lot of push back from the field. With Dennis’ attention to detail, insight, and sophisticated ability to effectively communicate with passion and precision, adoption of Salesforce has grown which has resulted in more effective and efficient ways of working and managing accounts.
The competencies Dennis possesses, and demonstrations are vast and consistently called upon to help the business and sales team. From problem-solving savvy to his effective communication, strategic mindset, knowledge of technology and how to obtain and analyze data he has been viewed as a Thought Leader. Most recently I have been overjoyed to see him take on the project of Pride EI&D Lead, as his ability to foster belonging and celebrate differences adds another lens to the work he does and a true testament to his purpose.
When looking at the posted role for the Digital Merchandiser in seeking an outstanding candidate to bring the Royal Canin and Eukanuba portfolio to life across ecommerce, championing the brand and effectively reaching customers I can say without hesitation I recommend Dennis Alexander. If there are any questions I can answer, or more specific detailed examples are required, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Brianne Morrow, LVT, VTS (Nutrition)
